SearchMesh + ChatGPT

Free during beta: 1,000 successful tool calls per account each UTC month. Failed calls are not counted.

  1. Open ChatGPT Settings → Security and login → enable Developer mode (Pro, Plus, Business, Enterprise and Edu; your workspace policy must allow it).
  2. Open ChatGPT Plugins → + (Create). Name it SearchMesh and enter the MCP URL below, including the /mcp path. Choose OAuth; leave optional client ID and secret empty.
  3. Create the connection, sign in to SearchMesh, and Allow access. Start a new chat and enable SearchMesh in the tools picker.
  4. After server updates, open the connection in Plugins and select Refresh, then start a new chat.

Try your first search

Ask your agent: Use SearchMesh to find the official MCP specification, read the relevant page, and cite the source URLs. Then check Request history in your dashboard.

Server authentication is supported; setup has not been tested end to end in every provider UI. Search queries and URLs are processed by SearchMesh and its upstream services; see the privacy policy.
